Rants Plumbing

I can't speak highly enough about Rants Plumbing. Here's our story: We had a natural gas leak on a Friday late evening (at approximately 9:00 PM) that required both the assistance of the Boulder City FD (to turn off the gas) and SW Gas (to verify there were no above or below ground leaks). The technician from SW Gas advised that we would need a plumber (that works with natural gas - not all of them do) to come out and pressure test the lines to verify if there were no other leaks before the gas could be turned back on; he recommended Rants Plumbing. Over the weekend I phoned Rants and left a message. Chuck Rants called back the first thing Monday morning and was at my house 30 minutes later for an inspection visit. Within an hour he had one of his plumbers out to pressure test the line. In the meantime, Chuck contacted the City of Boulder City to arrange for an inspector to come out ASAP (this is a required part of the process to restart your natural gas). Later in the afternoon on that same day (the pressure testing takes several hours) a City of Boulder City inspector arrived to review and to sign off the test. Chuck and Rants Plumbing made the whole process a breeze. They were terrific. Their response time was amazing, their customer service was fantastic, and best of all, they were very reasonable priced. Chuck the owner is truly awesome, Michael the Senior Plumber is genuinely a kind man with a wealth of plumbing knowledge and Ed truly is a hard worker who will trench and backfill so quick and leave your landscaping looking as if he was never even there. Overall Rants plumbing is a great plumbing company which showcases high quality service, excellent pricing and good honest people. I would recommend to anyone.

Be careful senior citizens! One of the worst service, attitude, and rip off seen in my 70+ years!!

Least helpful plumber on the planet. Answers the phone when they want, doesn't respond to messages, only takes the easy money jobs

Let me start by saying that I've never used this stupid business. This ignorant, arrogant guy that either owns or works for this company accused my dog of biting his grandson. He immediately started accusing my spouse of walking our dog the night before in which our dog supposedly bit his grandson. We don't even live in Boulder City nor were we in the area at the time. He wouldn't listen, but instead was just being disrespectful and ignorant. Trying to enjoy a nice day in the park with our dogs and this idiot wanted to accuse my dog of something she would never do. I did go to the Police Department and let them know what would happen if he were to approach and accuse us again. More for his safety, not ours! Don't you ever come at us like that again. Do yourself a favor, don't use this company based on this guy's actions and demeanor.

I love Rants. Great service, prompt, caring. I’ve had to call on about three or four separate plumbing issues in my old building. I wouldn’t dream of calling anyone else. Dan is really prompt in responding and an excellent plumber.

Michael called me the day prior to confirm appointment. He was right on time and was very professional and pleasant. I didn’t know what kind of bill I would receive due to unexpected issues with my leaky pipe. I was very pleased with the amount and found it refreshing to feel like I was not being ripped off , as I have experienced in the past with other companies, I highly recommend Michael at Rantz Plumbing. Rants plumbing is the most unprofessional company with behaviors including yelling at neighbors, trying to intimidate people, refusing to speak with female homeowner - stating would only speak with a man, the owner conducts himself in the same misogynistic manner, not to even mention the pathetic service/skills! The absolutely worst company of all time. Disgraceful
